Protect Your Boundaries (PYB) offers Fence and Boundary Stakeout services to help homeowners clearly identify the location of their property lines before building, repairing, or replacing a fence, or whenever boundary clarification is needed. Fence and boundary stakeout services in the Greater Toronto Area start from $2,500.

Our team reviews your request and connects you with a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor who will complete the stakeout on-site.

What Is a Fence / Boundary Stakeout?

A Fence or Boundary Stakeout involves marking your property line(s) directly on the ground using iron spikes placed by a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor.

This service provides a clear, visible indication of where your boundaries lie, making it ideal for:

• Building or replacing a fence
• Resolving boundary questions with neighbours
• Verifying limits before landscaping or small construction projects
• Understanding exactly where the legal boundary sits on the ground

Please note:
A stakeout does not include a plan of survey. It is strictly an on-site marking of the requested boundary line(s).

4. Existing Survey Plan (if available)

Once your request is received, our team will review the details and put you in contact with a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor for a quote. Pricing is based on location, lot size, and the number of property lines being marked.
