Are your surveys "stamped"?

1

I'm required by Toronto Building to provide a "stamped" survey. Are your surveys "stamped"? My address is [removed for privacy]. I'm applying to have my driveway relocated.

Yes they are.  By “stamped” they mean that they have an official sticker on them issues but the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors (AOLS) and that they have been embossed with the stamp of the surveyor that completed the work.  An electronic copy of such a plan (such as a PDF) is considered “valid” if is shows this sticker.  The sis true for all land survey plans created in Ontario since the early 1990’s.  Prior to that the sticker system did not exist so older surveys do not have “stamps” but are still considered legal if they have the date and surveyor’s signature on them.
